Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing guests with an exceptional dining experience through attentive service, accurate order taking, and productive food delivery. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and food industry standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry

Pay: $17.60-$28.96 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 44.0 per week
