Accountable to the CFO for providing strategic financial information through the SaskTel Holdco five-year financial planning process, leading the development of the SaskTel Telco five-year financial plan together with the necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan. Accountable to work closely with all departments to facilitate planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Skills

- Skilled Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Strong financial background in a managerial environment.
- Several years’ experience dealing with corporate accounting, financial reporting, capital and operating budget processes within a holding company environment.
- Ability and commitment to sharing appropriate information with internal and external bodies.




- Solid comprehension of accounting theory and principles and ability to apply to new and existing processes. Understanding of international differences in IFRS and the impact on consolidated financial statement reporting is essential.
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and SaskTel.
