Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a local Labourer for work at our Fabrication Shop in Nisku, AB

- Wage: As Per Collective Agreement
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Night Shift premium available

What You Will Be Working On

- Shipping and receiving of materials, parts, and finished products




- Loading and unloading trucks using equipment or manual handling
- Organizing, staging, and transporting materials throughout the shop
- Assisting welders and fabricators with material movement and setup
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop setting
- Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment
- Conducting basic inspections of incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
- Following shop procedures and supporting overall production flow
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines

What We Are Looking For

- This position is primarily outdoor-based and requires working in all weather conditions. :

- Previous experience as a labourer in an industrial or fabrication shop environment

- Strong understanding of safe material handling practices

- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials up to 50 lbs

- CSTS 2020

- WHMIS 2015

- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in welding operations

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
