About the Role

Millers TIMBER MART in Eganville is looking for a friendly, reliable Part ‑ Time Cashier to support front‑end operations and provide excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and contributing to a positive store experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide helpful, friendly service
- Process purchases accurately using the POS system (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with merchandising and light shelf‑stocking as needed
- Handle returns, exchanges, and basic customer inquiries
- Support daily store tasks such as tidying, facing shelves, and restocking impulse items
- Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications





- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 30-40 lbs when assisting with stocking
- Retail or cashier experience is an asset but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to work weekends
