Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

- Greet customers as they enter the store

- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate

- Accept payments in cash, credit, or check

- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets

- Redeem coupons and stamps

- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area

- Keep reports of transactions

- Upsell products and services

- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

- Cleaning and fronting shelves

- General cleaning**:

- Must be able to give change without the assistance of a device/calculator/till**

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills




- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Proficient in using POS terminals
- Time management skills

Preferred Skills :

- Technical sales knowledge
- Experience with upselling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Multilingual abilities
- Proficient phone etiquette
- Previous experience in retail sales
- Familiarity with cashiering procedures
- Familiarity with Canada Post
- Familiarity with Lottery
- Fluency in English

The position available is for Saturday, Sunday and Stats 9am to 5pm

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
