About the Role

Doctors EyeCare is currently looking for a motivated and patient-focused Optician or Experienced Optical Dispenser to join our growing team immediately. This position will primarily support our Red Deer and Sylvan Lake locations, so flexibility to work between clinics is considered a strong asset.

What You’ll Do

- Assist patients with frame and lens selections based on their visual needs and lifestyle
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on premium lens products and coatings
- Adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally
- Support contact lens training and fittings when applicable
- Deliver excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Assist with front desk and reception duties as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a smooth patient experienceCollaborate closely with doctors and fellow team members across clinic locations

What We’re Looking For

- Licensed Optician, Experienced Optical Dispenser, or recent graduate from an Opticianry program
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment




- Open to constructive feedback and ongoing learning opportunities
- Confident with high-end optical sales and premium products
- Honest, dependable, and patient-focused
- Experience with contact lens fitting or training is considered an asset
- Cross-training or experience with front desk responsibilities is an assetFlexibility to work between clinic locations

Schedule Requirements

- Availability for at least one evening shift per week (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)Availability for 1-2 Saturdays per month (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
