HIRING : Front of House [FOH] Positions

A recent establishment in Port Hardy, BC - 19 Deep - is Hiring!

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

- Bartender (Cocktail-Forward)
- Host
- Servers

Each role has the opportunity to grow with us. We will also be seeking to hire Lead Servers to assist with opens and closes, as well we some part time staff for the busy season.

DETAILS : 19 Deep Public House is a new venue in Port Hardy. We are located in the bottom of Hotel 19, the recently-renovated facility across from the Hardy Bay and the infamous carrot! As with many towns in BC our busy months will be May to October, however, we will also be open year ‘round for locals.

Our food and drink menu will be curated by a team of Chefs who boast well over 20+ years of experience both in British Columbia and abroad, and will feature high standards of quality, local ingredients with a focus on sustainability, modern presentation, and classical technique. Two hospitality professional couples will be combining their skill sets on the opening management team to make 19 Deep a long-standing local spot to enjoy local seafood and internationally-inspired fare with accessible staples as compliments to a robust wine and cocktail-forward bar menu.

This is our first job posting for FOH positions, so we still have some details to sort out on what we are offering outside of above-average compensation, fresh starts, and an employee-forward environment. Job descriptions will be sent out to those interested in taking the step of applying.



Our aim is to be open mid-May 2026 with staff training the week prior.

We aim to be hosting a soft opening for friends and family leading up to the May long weekend.
