Polar Electric Contracting Ltd. is looking for an experienced Electrical Manager to help support and organize our growing residential and commercial electrical operations.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced Journeyman Electrician looking to transition into a leadership and operations-focused position. Older experienced electricians and Master Electricians are strongly encouraged to apply. We believe there is tremendous value in industry knowledge, mentorship, and real-world experience, and this position would be an excellent fit for someone approaching retirement who still wants to stay involved in the trade without the heavy physical demands of full-time field work.

This role is designed to help take workload off ownership by assisting with the daily operations of the company, coordinating staff, supporting customers, and helping keep projects organized and moving efficiently.

Qualifications :

- Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician certificate
- Master Electrician certification is considered a strong asset
- Extensive residential and/or commercial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities :

- Assist with managing daily company operations
- Help delegate work to electricians and apprentices
- Support scheduling of projects, service calls, and manpower
- Assist customers with service inquiries and troubleshooting
- Help prepare quotes and pricing for service work and smaller projects




- Assist with invoicing and administrative duties
- Coordinate materials and communicate with suppliers
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to field staff
- Perform occasional site visits and quality control inspections
- Mentor apprentices and younger electricians
- Help maintain high workmanship and safety standards
- Assist ownership with improving systems, organization, and efficiency
