Job Summary : The Service Technician - Electrical oversees the diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of power generation equipment, as well as industrial engines. This role requires a robust mechanical aptitude, adept troubleshooting skills, and a steadfast commitment to safety protocols.

Key duties and responsibilities :

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, with a focus on John Deere, Kubota and Mitsubishi models.
- Conduct repairs, planned maintenance, and commissioning of power generators.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, including but not limited to: charging systems,



sensor faults, wiring and connections, fuse and relay failures, communication faults, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), engine starting problems, loss of power, overheating, unusual noises, and fuel system issues.
- Wire AC/DC circuits and panels.
- Utilize the latest diagnostic tools and technology to accurately service and repair equipment.
- Diligently perform both shop and field service tasks.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Comply with all industry standards, as well as company safety procedures and policies, to ensure a secure and secure work environment.
- Mentor and support lower-level apprentices' growth and development by providing constructive feedback, fostering skill improvement, and enhancing performance.

Education & Qualifications :

- Must hold Red-Seal Electrician certification.
- 1-2 years of industrial electrical experience is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience is required.
- Prior experience troubleshooting and problem-solving John Deere, Kubota, and Mitsubishi engines, and similar generator and control systems, is an asset.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including varied hours and travel, as needed to support our customers.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively,



throughout a regular workday.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strongly committed to mentoring and supporting apprentice development through constructive feedback and skill-building.
- Customer-centric with strong relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
