Lead underground electrical installation and maintenance for NS Power in Sackville, Nova Scotia, using troubleshooting and team leadership skills daily.

As a Leading Electrician, you will report to the Underground Supervisor within Energy Delivery Operations. This regular full time position covers underground plant on transmission and distribution systems. You will direct electricians and Powerline Technicians while supporting safe, documented work and reliable operations across Nova Scotia Power sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct underground electrical plant installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair
- Lead electricians and Powerline Technicians completing required documentation
- Travel to Nova Scotia Power sites throughout the province
- Participate in regulatory and additional skills training programs




- Ensure occupational health and safety compliance under your direction

Requirements:
- Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification and five years troubleshooting experience
- Construction Electrician certification may receive consideration
- Valid Nova Scotia driver's license and two years driving experience
- Satisfactory driver’s abstract provided to NSPI
- Leadership, communication, organization, and independent work skills
