The position involves mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, diagnostic equipment, work orders, and repair scheduling. It supports local neighborhoods through reliable fleet maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and heavy-duty equipment
- Use power tools, hand instruments, and diagnostic equipment
- Complete daily reports, work orders, and part procurement
- Plan repairs using the M5 planner system
- Coordinate regional repair schedules and mechanical write-ups

Requirements:
- Recognized Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship completion
- Current Red Seal or B.C. Journeyperson certification
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Expertise diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to lift items up to 100 pounds
