Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with daily cleaning and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Feed and water animals according to established schedules and protocols.
- Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to veterinary staff or supervisors.
- Provide gentle handling and socialization to animals to promote comfort and reduce stress.
- Assist with exercise routines, including walking or playing with animals as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and any observations.
- Support team members with inventory management, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.

Skills

- Robust customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, such as moving cages, supplies, or animals.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and understanding of their needs.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
