Responsibilities :

- Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations ensuring all employees are held accountable for our safety and environmental systems.
- Lead the Department team to successfully achieve its targets with respect to health and safety, operational priorities, production rates and manufacturing costs.
- Develop, coordinate and implement training programs given the demographics of the team to maintain and improve upon quality, efficiency and capital upgrades.
- Participate in monthly operation/budget reviews and will maintain an active and open dialogue with the union to promote continuous improvement within the department.
- Build a positive relationship between the Utilities Department and Maintenance Department.

Your Profile:

- Excellent communicator, insightful, self-aware, and able to listen to employees and integrate feedback into the operations. Robust belief in continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
