Qualifications
- Licensure:Must be a licensed Pharmacist in valuable standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (or eligible for licensure).
- Skills:Robust interpersonal and communication skills; bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset for this community.
- Experience:Previous experience in retail/community pharmacy preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide Clinical Services:Manage minor ailment assessments, smoking cessation, and chronic disease management (diabetes, pain).
- Dispense & Consult:Ensure accuracy in prescription dispensing and provide thorough patient counselling on medications and interactions.
- Community Care:Administer vaccinations, immunizations, and perform lab sample analysis.
- Hospital Experience:We service the local hospital and provide collaborative care with the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
- Team Leadership:Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants while maintaining an efficient workflow.
$48 - $67 an hour
