Equinox Gold is seeking Welder Journeypersons for their Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. This is a site-based role on a rotational schedule, focused on repairs, overhauls, and new builds for mining equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, experienced in heavy equipment welding, and holds a Red Seal Journeyperson Welding certification.

What You’ll Need

- Red Seal Journeyperson Welding certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in an industrial or mine site setting (asset)
- Ability to set up and operate Cooper Heating systems
- Experience with bucket component repair/replacement and armoring
- Ability to interpret work orders and technical manuals
- Solid communication skills in English
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and work with minimal supervision

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Experience with Komatsu, CAT, Epiroc equipment
- Mine site experience
