About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Montréal-Est. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting activities, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities.

This is a hands-on senior-level position suited for an accounting skilled who is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform bank, investment, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for the VP of Finance
- Monitor and maintain solid internal controls and accounting procedures




- Support year-end audits and tax filings
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and other professionals
- Participate in various accounting and financial projects as required

What We're Looking For

- 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation or equivalent experience is an asset
- Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience with multiple entities and intercompany transactions
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information
