Job Description
• Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving
• Inspect all incoming shipments for condition and verify accuracy against purchase orders
• Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the store
• Process outgoing shipments to suppliers and other Long & McQuade locations
• Work with standard shipping documents and online shipping systems
• Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork




• Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Provide assistance to co-workers in stocking and restocking of merchandise
• Provide assistance to co-workers in general housekeeping and store maintenance Job Requirements
• Enjoy working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to excel in a self-directed work environment
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes
• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills
