Career Trek Inc. is looking for energetic, dynamic, and creative individuals who thrive in a space for innovation, growth, change, and out-of-the-box thinking to work as Trekker Day Staff in The Pas, MB. The primary role of Trekker Day Staff is to manage classroom and field trip experiences for students in Grades 9 to 12 by supporting protected, organized, and engaging learning environments, facilitating youth career exploration activities, and providing active supervision throughout the program. The Trekker Days run primarily on weekdays but can run on weekends depending on schedule.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of engaging with the community and families, implementing quality programming, and getting youth interested and excited about their futures

Under the guidance and supervision of the Manager and Coordinator, the main areas of work include:

1. Inspiring and motivating participants,



by guiding discussions and addressing relevant questions.
2. Supporting positive classroom and peer dynamics by setting clear expectations, encouraging respectful participation, and helping students navigate group activities and interactions.
3. Accurate record keeping and reporting, along with documenting program activities, highlights, and relevant details through photos and impact measurement tools.
4. Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
5. Staying informed about participants' dietary and medical requirements.
6. Providing guidance, support and mentorship to all participants.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

- Some experience working with youth from equity deserving groups.
- Familiarity with/working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Teams and Outlook.
- Some experience with public speaking or program/workshop facilitation or willingness to build these skills.
- Familiarity with running events or programs.
