Summary

Provides registration and health records support by processing patient admissions, discharges,



and transfers; maintaining accurate patient information; completing, scanning, filing, and retrieving records; and supporting the release of patient information for continuity of care. Ensures records and registration processes are accurate, timely, and confidential while providing respectful service to patients, families, and staff.

What You Bring

Education

- Grade 12 and two years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

- Ability to keyboard at 40 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
