Hello My name is Jessica, and I am a family in Vancouver, British Columbia looking to hire a part-time nanny for our very fun 4 year old and recent baby (born in July). We are seeking someone reliable and caring to assist us during morning routines, evening routines, and weekends, working alongside me while my partner is at work. Seeking 4-5 days a week, a mix of shifts as follows. My partner is working in hospitality and his shifts vary. We can confirm the shifts ahead of time but need flexibility for the day of the week at this time. Morning shifts: 7am-11am Evening shifts: 4:30pm-8:30pm Weekends shifts: TBD Morning/evening Shifts are on separate days. A morning shift could look like: Start at 7AM and prepare simple breakfast for 4 year old Feed dog and cat Unload/load dishwasher Pack lunch for the 4 year old Take care of the baby (change, feed bottle, put down for nap) while I get ready, prepare the 4 year old, and drive him to school. Start some laundry while she is napping or do light meal prep (e.g., meal kit)
An evening shift would be similar as we would work together through the dinner/bath/bed routine for both kids. Must be comfortable with pets. We have a friendly long haired mini dachshund dog and and indoor/outdoor cat that would enjoy some extra attention too. We are offering $25 per hour for the right person. If you have experience with children, are nurturing, and are looking for a part-time opportunity, we would love to hear from you. We would set up a Facetime/Zoom call, then meet in person for a paid trial/partial shift. Please message me if you are interested in this position.
