We are a current-to-Canada family who are a part-time single-parent household. What does that mean? Avi's mom travels back and forth to the US for job/immigration reasons while working on getting a transfer here to Toronto that will allow her to obtain a work permit and be here full-time. During the weeks she's back in the US, we need someone to hang with Avi for four-five hours on Saturday afternoons. This is a low-key, low-stress position
- she's independent, usually self-directed. But she's 10
- we need someone in the house in case of emergency. So come hang, help her build Legos, do the occasional activity, maybe accompany her to the park, and otherwise get some homework/out-of-office work done while she talks to friends on Roblox or FaceTimes with her grandmother. This is a live-out position, providing flexibility for both the nanny and our family. We are offering a competitive wage of $25 per hour. Dates needed will be set well in advance.
