Full-Time Montessori-Inspired Nanny

Location:
North York, Ontario Position: Full-time, live-out, long-term nanny Required qualifications
* Extensive experience caring for infants, ideally under 12 months.
* Formal Montessori infant/toddler training preferred; solid Montessori-inspired experience considered.
* Knowledge of age-appropriate sensory play, language development, movement and child-led learning.
* Infant CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent references and a satisfactory background check.
* Warm, attentive, reliable and interested in building a consistent, long-term relationship with our family. Responsibilities
* Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate infant care.
* Incorporate Montessori-inspired activities and maintain a safe play environment.
* Follow feeding, nap and daily-care routines.
* Support language, sensory and motor development through age-appropriate activities.
* Communicate regularly with parents about development and daily activities.



Schedule and flexibility
* Full-time weekday care.
* The family travels out of state approximately four to five times per year, with absences potentially lasting about one month.
* During these periods, childcare may not be required, although the family may occasionally request that the nanny travel with them.
* Candidates must be comfortable discussing a mutually agreed-upon schedule, travel expectations, compensation during planned absences and long-term employment terms before hiring.
