Willowdale, North York (Condo Townhouse) Schedule: Once per week, approximately 4-5 hours per visit Additional hours: Available when needed Pay: Approximately $30-$40/hour, depending on experience Position: Long-term, part-time About the Position I am looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive housekeeper for a three-level condo townhouse in Willowdale, North York. This is a one-person household with no pets. I am hoping to find someone for a long-term arrangement who can become familiar with the home and maintain it consistently. I value someone who notices what needs attention without always needing to be told. The ideal person takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized, and well cared for. Main Responsibilities Regular housekeeping will include: Cleaning four bathrooms Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen Vacuuming and mopping hardwood floors across all three levels Vacuuming carpeted stairs Dusting and general surface cleaning Emptying household garbage and replacing garbage bags Cleaning visibly dirty mirrors, glass, and other surfaces Cleaning the range hood approximately once per week Periodic cleaning of the inside of the refrigerator Finishing kitchen cleanup when dishes or other items have been left unfinished Regularly rotating deeper-cleaning tasks, including baseboards, door frames, window sills, cabinet tops, and areas underneath or behind furniture Paying attention to corners and other areas that are easily missed during regular cleaning Laundry & Garment Care Laundry may also be part of the regular housekeeping routine, including:



Washing and drying clothing when needed Folding clothing Ironing clothing Ironing bedding Reading and following garment care labels Separating and handling clothing appropriately based on fabric and care instructions Special, expensive, or unfamiliar garments should not be washed or treated without asking first. Making or changing beds is not required. Household Supplies I would appreciate someone who keeps an eye on household and cleaning supplies while working. If toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning products, laundry products, or other regularly used supplies are running low, please make a straightforward shopping list so I know what needs to be purchased. You will not be expected to purchase these items yourself. Initially, it would be helpful if you can bring some of your preferred basic cleaning supplies or tools. I will also provide supplies at the house and can purchase additional products or tools you prefer for ongoing work. When I Am Away Occasionally, when I am travelling, I may ask you to visit the home for a basic house check in addition to regular housekeeping. This would only involve simple checks of the property and reporting anything unusual or requiring attention. What I Am Looking For The right person is: Very detail-oriented Proactive and able to notice what needs attention Reliable and punctual Trustworthy and respectful of privacy Comfortable working independently Experienced with private residential housekeeping Ideally experienced working in higher-end private homes Careful around computers, electronics, personal belongings,



and household furnishings Able to communicate in basic conversational English Previous employer references are required, and applicants should be comfortable completing a background check. Having a driver's licence and your own vehicle is preferred, but not required as long as transportation is reliable. Privacy & Professionalism Privacy is very important in this household. The housekeeper should be discreet and respectful of personal belongings and information. Photos or videos should not be taken inside the home without permission, and no other person should be brought into the home without prior approval. Personal phone calls are fine when necessary, and listening to music while working is completely fine. I only ask that long or frequent personal calls do not interfere with the work. If you need to cancel or reschedule a visit, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible, except in emergencies. Schedule & Long-Term Arrangement The regular schedule will normally be once per week for approximately 4-5 hours. The exact day and time are flexible and can be arranged together. Additional visits or hours may occasionally be offered when more help is needed. A paid trial can be arranged before establishing the regular schedule. I am looking for someone who would be interested in a long-term arrangement if we are a good mutual fit. Reliability, attention to detail, initiative, trust, and valuable communication are more important to me than simply completing a checklist.
