We are a caring family in Calgary, Alberta, looking to hire a part time elder care provider. Our goal is to find a female who can be a reliable companion to our loved one while assisting with personal care tasks. The position is live out, allowing you to maintain your own living arrangements while dedicating your time to providing support. Mom is currently in a home and will be moving into a memory care ward shortly. As a companion, you will not only help with daily routines but also engage in meaningful conversations and activities. Mom has some dementia and used to do lots of quilting, sewing, etc. Her husband passed in January of this year and she lacks the outgoing skills to make new friends. Someone with a similar background and interests as she has would be the best so she can build a level of trust.



We would like to start with a couple of hours on most days and build into that if there is a good connection.

We offer
