We are Emily and Paul, and we are looking for a part-time after-daycare nanny for our toddler Dottie. We live in Roncesvalles and work downtown with two busy careers. We are looking for someone who can make weekday afternoons a little calmer, happier, and more organized. Our daughter, Dottie, is a happy toddler who likes stickers, magnets, books, songs, and going to the park. She is easy to please. We are hoping to find someone who enjoys toddlers and entering their world. The position is for aproximately 12
- 16 hours a week. 2-6pm three or four days a week, not including Friday, or the weekend. Compensation is up to $30 an hour, depending on experience and fit. We think a typical day would look like this:
- arrive at our house around 2pm, prepare a dinner or other meal, some tidying if needed (we have a regular cleaner so no serious cleaning required)
- pick Dottie up from daycare between 4pm and 5pm (10 min walk from our house)
- stop at the park, walk around the neighbourhood, or come straight home, depending on the day
- feed Dottie dinner
- done by 6pm, and we will do bedtime. We are hoping to find someone who is warm, dependable, and responsible.



We have two busy careers and want to work collaboratively with you to make the household work. We are hoping you are a strong communicator. We value experience but more important is good judgment and reliability. We know part time positions can sometimes be challenging to fit into a schedule, so we're happy to have a conversation if a little flexibility would help make things work.
