Hi, We are seeking a dedicated and reliable nanny to assist with caring for 4-year-old twin daughters. This role primarily revolves around morning (7-10AM) and assisting with evening care, ensuring a consistent and smooth-running routine, which we greatly value for our girls and our family. As they transition to school in the next 1.5 years, the schedule will evolve. Your daily activities would primarily consist of assisting in mornings and evenings as needed. We are actively involved parents, but on some days support might look like any of waking and preparing the girls for school, assisting them with dressing, and various housekeeping chores, such as doing the children's laundry and keeping the kitchen tidy. Additionally, meal preparation for the children and occasional errand-running could fall under your responsibilities. The children are currently exposed to Reggio Emelia approaches and we would welcome speaking with anyone with experience in that area, including some Early Childhood Experience. The offering of 'full-time' or 'part-time' work is flexible depending on the fit between us, and if it's part time, we might end up hiring two individuals. There will be opportunities for evening or weekend work which can be discussed in more detail during our meeting. We have hired help in the past, including regular babysitters.



Since we believe that a strong and caring bond between a nanny and a family starts with the right match, we are open to exploring different arraignments, as long as we understand it is ultimately about what fits best for our family and children. We are seeking a candidate who can start as soon as possible, and can share how many hours per week and month they have available. The family speaks Punjabi, so fluency in this language is important. Speaking with the girls in Panjabi, especially at home, is very important to us to help them understand their balance of cultures and identity. The girls are also fluent in English, and it's worth noting that Punjabi is a fairly easy language to learn conversationally for anyone interested.
