About the role
Our ideal nanny is someone who genuinely enjoys caring for young children and has significant hands-on experience with infants and toddlers. We are looking for someone calm, dependable, patient, and confident who can become a trusted and consistent part of our household. Responsibilities will include:
* Caring for our infant and toddler
* Feeding and preparing simple meals/snacks for the children
* Helping with naps and bedtime routines
* Taking the children outside for walks, playground time, and age-appropriate activities
* Engaging the children in play, reading, and developmental activities
* Helping with children's laundry and keeping their play areas tidy
* Providing a protected, loving, and structured environment
* Helping with the children's daily routines and transitions
* Helping with preparing meals and household cleaning for the family The person we are looking for We would especially love to meet someone who:
* Has substantial experience caring for infants and toddlers
* Is mature, patient, calm, and nurturing
* Has a warm and caring personality
* Is reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
* Is comfortable caring for two young children
* Has experience managing naps, meals, routines,



and toddler behaviour
* Can take initiative without needing constant direction
* Understands and respects parents' decisions and parenting style
* Is looking for a long-term position rather than a short-term job
* Has excellent references from previous families
* Has current First Aid/CPR certification (or is willing to obtain it)
* Is comfortable with the possibility of eventually living with our family Previous experience as a nanny, mother's helper, daycare provider, early childhood educator, or as a parent with substantial childcare experience is welcome. Schedule We are looking for a full-time live-in arrangement for the right person.
