We are a warm and welcoming family in Langley, BC, looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny to help care for our 1-year-old son. This is primarily a part time position, with certain months requiring full-time availability. The schedule will be weekdays only (Monday-Friday), with no evening or weekend work required. Mom works from home, so she will be present during the day but needs someone who can independently care for our son while she works. ### Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and engaging care for our 1-year-old.
- Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, development, and play.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for our son.
- Assist with feeding, diaper changes, naps, and daily routines.
- Take our son for walks and outdoor play when weather permits.
- Light tidying related to childcare, including toys, dishes, and meal preparation areas. ### What We're Looking For
- Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers.
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children.
- Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely.




- Able to take initiative and maintain a consistent daily routine.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- References from previous childcare positions preferred. ### A Special Bonus
- European Portuguese Mom is originally from Portugal, and we're raising our son with a connection to his Portuguese heritage and language. We would love to find a nanny who speaks European Portuguese (Português de Portugal) and can incorporate the language naturally into everyday activities, playtime, and conversation.
