Hello We are a family in NW Calgary looking for a reliable, caring, part-time live-out nanny for our two daughters, ages 5 and 7, for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. Our regular schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from approximately 10:40 a.m. to 6:40 p.m., or about 24 hours per week. Our start date is flexible
- we would rather wait for the right person than rush to fill the position. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can stay with us through June 2027. Compensation is $25/hour, with some flexibility for the right candidate depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide 4% vacation pay and reimburse work-related mileage. The day begins with picking up our 5-year-old from morning kindergarten in Varsity at approximately 10:49 a.m. You would care for her during the afternoon, meet our 7-year-old after school, and care for both children until we return home. Some driving to children's activities may also be required. Responsibilities include school pickup, afternoon childcare, simple meals/snacks for the children, activities and play, helping with after-school routines, and light child-related tidying.



Because driving is an significant part of the position, applicants must have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle. Work-related mileage is reimbursed. We are looking for someone dependable, warm and patient who genuinely wants a stable three-day-per-week position. Previous nanny or childcare experience and strong references are important. First Aid/CPR and a police/vulnerable-sector check are preferred or can be arranged before starting. PD days, school closures and school breaks can be handled case by case, with additional hours sometimes available by mutual agreement.
