Part-Time Household Helper / Family Assistant

Location:
Vancouver West Side, BC Pay: $22-$27/hour, depending on experience Hours: Approximately 6-9 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days. Flexible scheduling during daytime hours, Monday-Friday.

About the Role
We're a busy family looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive household helper to assist with the day-to-day running of our home. We're hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys organizing, tidying, and creating order out of the everyday chaos of family life This isn't primarily a cleaning or childcare position. Though if you're a outstanding cleaner we could increase your hours to do weekly cleaning as well. We're looking for someone who can help us stay on top of household tasks, keep things organized, and make our home run more smoothly.

Responsibilities:
General tidying and household organization Organizing kids' art supplies, projects, toys, and other household clutter Laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away Kitchen tidying and loading/unloading the dishwasher Organizing cupboards, drawers, and storage spaces Light cleaning and general household upkeep Other household tasks as needed Basic meal preparation and occasional cooking (negotiable) Grocery shopping, returns, and other errands (negotiable) Who We're Looking For The most important qualities are initiative, reliability, attention to detail,



and a genuine love of organization. Our ideal person: Notices what needs doing without constant direction Enjoys organizing and maintaining tidy spaces Is efficient, dependable, and trustworthy Is comfortable working independently
- will provide initial training Understands the realities of a busy family home Is happy to take on a variety of household tasks Previous experience in a similar household role is an asset, but attitude and initiative are more important to us. Position Details Schedule: 2-3 days per week, approximately 3 hours per day Flexibility: Days and times are flexible, provided they fall within daytime hours, Monday-Friday Compensation: $22-$27/hour depending on experience
