Hi I'm looking for someone to care for my senior dog, Honey, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday the week of September 21 while I'm at work. Honey is about 55 lbs, house-trained, and has stayed successfully with pet sitters and boarding facilities many times before. We recently moved to Toronto, and she's having a difficult time adjusting to being left alone in our new environment. The good news is that when someone is with her, she settles and does not bark or cry-she really just needs someone around during the workday. I'm adaptable about the arrangement. You can stay with her at my condo near Richmond & Simcoe/Osgoode Station, where you're welcome to work remotely, study, watch TV, use the Wi-Fi, etc., or I can bring Honey to your home if that works better but she would need to be the only pet. She is a senior dog and can be reactive on walks, so someone comfortable and experienced with dogs would be ideal. Not for an inexperienced handler.
