Hello We're Karen and Aaron, and we're looking for a wonderful part-time nanny to join our family beginning this coming school year. We have two amazing children, ages 9 and 6, and live in Bloor West Village in Toronto. Like many families, we're balancing two professional careers with raising young children, and we're hoping to find someone who can help make weekday afternoons a little calmer, happier, and more organized. Our daughter, Alexandra, is a thoughtful, imaginative reader who loves books, art, and creative projects. Our son, Luca, is energetic, curious, and happiest when he's building, creating, exploring outdoors, or inventing recent games. They are very different personalities, but both are kind, funny, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. They also enjoy being around one another, and we often refer to Alexandra as a 'little momma'. We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time with school-aged children-not just supervising them, but getting to know them, encouraging their interests, and becoming a trusted, positive presence in their week. About the Position:
- Approximately 15 hours per week
- Generally Monday through Thursday, approximately 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- We can be somewhat flexible with scheduling for the right person.
- Compensation is approximately $30/hour, depending on experience and fit. Responsibilities would typically include:
- School pickup and after-school care
- Taking the children to activities (when needed)




- Preparing healthy snacks and simple dinners
- Helping with homework when appropriate
- Light children's housekeeping (tidying play areas, children's laundry, lunch preparation, etc.) Who We're Hoping to Find We're looking for someone who is:
