We are a family in St. Albert seeking a caring, dependable nanny to help care for our two children, ages 7 and almost 5. Our oldest child is autistic and also has ADHD. He is bright, energetic, and creative, and thrives with patience, structure, and consistency. We are looking for someone who is calm, supportive, and comfortable helping children navigate transitions and big emotions. Experience working with neurodivergent children is a strong asset, but not required. Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Occasional weekends, by mutual agreement Occasional full days on PD days, school closures, and holidays Summer Opportunity: We hope to expand this role to full-time hours from late June through early September for the right candidate, if available. There is also strong potential for additional hours and a longer-term role for the right fit.

Responsibilities:
Pick up the children from school and transport them to activities Provide attentive and engaging after-school care Prepare snacks and simple meals Plan age-appropriate activities, play, and outings Support routines and help with transitions Complete light housekeeping related to the children,



including tidying play areas and cleaning up after meals and activities We are looking for someone who is: Kind, responsible, dependable, and patient Calm and confident when supporting children through transitions and big emotions Organized and proactive Energetic and enthusiastic about engaging with children A strong communicator with both children and parents

Qualifications:
Previous childcare experience Experience working with autistic children or children with ADHD is a strong asset Valid driver's license (required) Comfortable driving children Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening References from previous childcare employers Transportation: Driving is an key part of this role.
