I am looking for an experienced PSW who would like to be part of a team that cares for my beautiful 27 year old special needs daughter. She is in a wheelchair and although she is developmentally delayed she is the most wonderful conversationalist. She brings joy to everyone around her except early am when she doesn't want to get out of bed. Our home is completely handicapped accessible with elevator and we have a Hoyer Lift. Job would require lifting including transfers from bed to chair, chair to toilet etc. We have a handicapped vehicle for transportation to her programs and day-to-day outings. Being an experienced driver is also a key requirement of this job. This is permanent job that will have a range of hours from 20-40 hours per week dependent on my work and social schedule. Availability to work on weekends (mostly Saturdays) and some overnights. Must love dogs since we have a 9 pound maltipoo who loves to chase balls. Help with errands (shopping etc.) for my 90 year old Mom would be excellent.
