We are a family based in Ajax, Ontario, seeking an experienced, mature, responsible, and nurturing nanny to provide attentive care for our infant. Position Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; exact hours to be mutually discussed
- Compensation: $18-$22/hour, negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for our infant
- Ensure the child's safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day
- Follow established feeding, nap, and daily care routines
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities and interaction
- Maintain a clean and safe environment related to the child's care
- Keep the baby's room, play areas, and feeding areas clean and organized
- Baby laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing baby clothes and linens
- Prepare simple meals/snacks for the baby as appropriate
- light house keeping and meal prep help
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's day, needs, and any interactions
- Follow parents' established routines, instructions, and preferences regarding the child's care Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience caring for newborns/young infants
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification required
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong emotional intelligence,



with the ability to communicate respectfully, handle situations calmly, and respond thoughtfully to the needs of both the child and parents
- Patient, attentive, and adaptable
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining regular communication with parents
- Professional and respectful approach to the employer-caregiver relationship
- References required Important Household Requirement One of the parents has a severe allergy to cats. Candidates who currently live with cats or have regular exposure to cats may not be suitable for this position due to the severity of the allergy.
