Hello We are a family of 4 in Bear Mountain looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic nanny to help with our two boys after school/daycare. About our family:
* Austin
- 2 years old, active, happy and very social
* Saber
- 10 years old, Grade 5
* Live-out, part-time position
* Monday-Friday, approximately 3:00-5:00 PM
* I can guarantee at least 10 hours per week for someone who is available for the full 2-hour afternoon block each day.
* We are also flexible with the exact hours depending on the right candidate. What we need: The main purpose of this position is to bridge the gap between the children's school/daycare dismissal and when I finish work. Austin's daycare is directly across the street from our home, so no driving is required. You would pick him up from daycare, safely walk him home, and supervise him until I arrive home from work. I work in downtown Langford and finish at approximately 4:30 PM, so I expect to be home shortly afterward. During this time, you would primarily be responsible for keeping Austin safe, engaged and happy. Saber is 10 and is more independent, but he may also need some after-school supervision and support while you're here. What we're looking for We'd love to find someone who is:
* Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys working with children
* Reliable and punctual
* Comfortable caring for a toddler




* Responsible and safety-conscious
* Experienced with children ages 2-10
* CPR/First Aid certified

* References and a Vulnerable Sector Check are an asset Snacks & meals Meal preparation is not required. However, experience preparing easy, healthy snacks for children would definitely be a bonus. We will provide plenty of healthy options such as fresh fruit, yogurt and appropriate packaged snacks, and are happy to discuss what the kids enjoy. Compensation: Starting wage: $25/hour, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Hours are also flexible. I can guarantee at least 10 hours per week (Monday-Friday) for someone available approximately 3:00-5:00 PM each weekday.
