I'm a single mom with a 4-year-old boy, living in Riverdale (Broadview & Danforth), and I'm looking for a warm, reliable and organized person to help with a combination of meal prep, light housekeeping and childcare, approximately 8-10 hours per week. The role would include a mix of: Meal prep / straightforward family cooking Laundry and folding Tidying and light housekeeping General household reset and organization School pickup for my son near Spadina & Davenport on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, depending on schedule and availability Bringing him home to Riverdale Dinner, playtime and clean-up Bath, depending on timing I'm flexible on exactly how the hours are structured and happy to discuss what works best for the right person. One option could be two weekday afternoon/evening shifts, with household help and meal prep before school pickup. Additional weekend hours may also be available if desired, either for childcare or occasional household support.
I'm looking for someone who is comfortable with both childcare and household support, is proactive and organized, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. Previous childcare experience and references are preferred. Driving is not required
- school pickup can be done by TTC
- although having a car would be a bonus. I'm hoping to find someone for an ongoing role and can be flexible on the start date for the right fit. Please message me with a little about yourself, your childcare/household experience, availability, whether you drive, and your hourly rate. From there, I'd plan to have a quick phone call followed by an in-person meeting if it seems like a good fit.
