A quick note: Our family has recently experienced a difficult incident involving our daughter, Charley, and we're taking some time to focus on her recovery. Please understand that our responses may be a little delayed during this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. ❤ Our family is looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced part time nanny to care for our 15-month-old daughter, Charley, after daycare in our home in Esquimalt. We are ideally looking for someone available Tuesday through Friday, with the goal of reaching approximately 20 hours per week. We are flexible with days and hours and happy to work around the right candidate's schedule Schedule and transportation The schedule will depend on whether you are able to drive:
* If you can drive: We are flexible with Charley's daycare pickup time, and you would be responsible for picking her up from daycare in Langford and bringing her home to Esquimalt. We have a vehicle available for use, or gas expenses can be reimbursed if you use your own vehicle. If a later start time works better, we are happy to arrange additional hours in the morning before daycare drop-off or at other times throughout the week to reach approximately 20 hours per week.
* If you don't have a car or are unable to drive: The preferred hours would be 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday. I would pick Charley up from daycare and bring her home.



We are still flexible with the schedule and happy to discuss an arrangement that works for everyone. Responsibilities include:
* Providing attentive, loving care for Charley
* Planning and engaging in age-appropriate, developmental activities
* Creating a safe, happy, and stimulating environment
* Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
* Helping with pet care as needed We also have a doodle, so applicants must be comfortable around dogs. Ideal candidate:
* Has previous experience caring for infants or toddlers
* Holds current CPR certification
* Is caring, patient, dependable, and attentive
* Has a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record (preferred)
* Is comfortable around dogs
* Can provide references and is willing to undergo a criminal record check Compensation: $25 per hour, with some flexibility depending on experience and responsibilities.
