Hello We are a warm and welcoming family in Ottawa looking for a compassionate and experienced nanny to care for our 6-month-old son, Gabriel. Gabriel is a calm baby who loves to be held. He is a proud premie and NICU graduate who has been thriving at home for one year. He currently receives feeds through a combination of bottle and tube feeding and requires supplemental oxygen; however, he is easy to soothe, and we will provide full training and support for all aspects of his care and routine. We are seeking someone who is:
• Nurturing, patient, and reliable
• Experienced with newborns (experience with medical, NICU, special needs, or healthcare settings is a strong asset)
• Detail-oriented and confident learning recent care tasks
• Physically able to 1) hold a baby upright for up to 90 minutes at a time during and after gravity feed; and 2)



safely engage baby in activities to enhance motor development (tummy time etc)
• Able to do some kitchen/house chores
• Willing to commute to us, on Carling and Woodroffe.

Requirements:
• CPR/First Aid certification for babies
• Strong knowledge of infant care
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
• Willingness to learn and follow medical and developmental instructions
