We are a warm and welcoming family based in Markham, Ontario (near Hwy 7 and Ninth Line), seeking a dedicated and caring live-out nanny to join our household. We have a 5-year-old son on the autism spectrum (ASD) who is affectionate, playful, and thrives in a calm, structured environment. Role Overview We are looking for someone who can provide a nurturing, stable, and attentive environment for our son. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging him in play and developmental activities (reading, interactive play, etc.)
- Assisting with daily routines, including diaper changes (not yet potty trained)
- Supporting emotional regulation during moments of dysregulation
- Ensuring a safe and supervised environment at all times Ideal Candidate:
- Patient, calm, and positive personality (he responds well to warm and engaging caregivers)
- Experience with autism or special needs is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills (he is minimally verbal,



so explicit verbal and non-verbal communication is important)
- Fluent in English
- Minimal exposure to sickness during non-

working hours
Additional Details:
- Hours would be after school Wednesdays and Thursdays (4pm-8pm), and occasionally when I travel for work there would be a lot of hours available that week too
