Our household is busy, welcoming, and dynamic, and we value organization, reliability, and thoughtful support that helps family life run smoothly. We're seeking a proactive, dependable House Manager & Family Assistant who can confidently manage day-to-day household needs, anticipate priorities, and become a valued long-term part of our family. We have skilled cleaners for deep cleaning, so this is not a traditional housekeeping position. Instead, the role focuses on hands-on household management, light proactive upkeep, laundry, meal preparation, errands, family logistics, transportation, and pet care. Schedule Monday-Friday, approximately 15-20 hours per week, generally between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on school schedules, appointments, deliveries, and household needs. Occasional evening support and house/pet sitting may be available and arranged in advance

Key Responsibilities
Household Management & Organization Maintain organized closets, pantry, storage areas, and family spaces Complete daily tidying, dishes, kitchen/bathroom resets, and household upkeep Proactively address everyday messes, including spills, fingerprints, tracked-in dirt, and sweeping or vacuuming as needed Manage household organization projects, seasonal swaps, donations, and guest preparation Laundry & Meal Preparation Manage family laundry, linens, bedding, towels, and sports uniforms Prepare simple family meals, school lunches, snacks, and meal prep Assist with meal planning, grocery lists, pantry organization,



and kitchen cleanup Family Scheduling & Support Maintain family calendars, appointments, and school/activity schedules Assist with school transportation, sports activities, and occasional childcare-related support Organize sports gear, uniforms, and family essentials Errands & Household Coordination Manage groceries, household inventory, online orders, returns, and errands Coordinate cleaners, vendors, deliveries, maintenance, and household appointments Assist with vehicle maintenance, car washes, and seasonal tire changes Support travel preparation, packing/unpacking, and occasional guest arrangements Pet Care Provide a daily 30-45 minute dog walk, including during reasonable winter conditions Assist with routine pet care, supplies, and backyard cleanup Provide occasional house and pet sitting during family travel, arranged in advance Who You Are We're looking for someone who is: Highly organized, reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and anticipating household needs Experienced or confident with household organization, laundry, meal preparation, and light upkeep Warm and comfortable around school-aged children Comfortable with dogs and daily pet care A safe, confident driver with a valid driver's licence, reliable transportation, and clean driving record Flexible, communicative, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy Interested in a long-term role supporting a busy household Able to maintain a smoke-free environment You're welcome apply directly through Canadian Nanny or visit Sage Haus website to apply through our candidate portal.
