PART-TIME PARENT HELPER / HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT We are a busy family looking for a reliable and organized part-time parent helper to help keep our household running smoothly. I am a full-time medical student with two children (ages 4 and 8), and my husband works rotating shifts. We are looking for someone who can provide practical household support during his day shifts during the week, as well as some weekend daytime hours when he is working. What we're looking for: The main focus is household help, rather than full-time childcare. Responsibilities would include:
* Light housekeeping such tidying, vacuuming, bathrooms, laundry, dishes, keeping the house generally organized
* Meal preparation
- preparing simple family dinners, chopping/prepping ingredients, and occasionally helping with meal planning. Kids come home around 5 As they go to aftercare.
* Helping keep the kitchen and main living areas organized and functional
* Occasional childcare/entertainment, particularly on weekends when my husband is working, playing with the kids, doing crafts, going outside so I can study.




* Helping with the general day-to-day tasks that are difficult to stay on top of while balancing medical school and family life Schedule: Approximately 8-15 hours per week, with flexibility depending on our family schedule. The ideal availability would be:
* Weekday daytime hours when my husband is working day shifts
* Some weekend daytime hours when he is working
* Schedule will vary somewhat from week to week due to his rotating work schedule Experience with children and/or household assistance is a must. A vulnerable sector/background check and references may be requested.
