Personal Support Worker (PSW) for Elderly Lady in Mississauga My sister (the Patient), age 87 years, will soon return from a hospital to her apartment in a retirement home. She will continue to receive physiotherapy to heal her fractured pelvis. She also has osteoarthritis in the lower back and high blood pressure. We need an experienced PSW, preferably with nursing experience, to work with her. The duties include;
• Be a friendly, sympathetic companion to help with the pain and loneliness
• Ensure she takes prescription medications and monitor her blood pressure
• Assist with the exercises and procedures recommended by Physiotherapist
• Assist with personal activities such as bathing, dressing, changing clothes




• Prepare and serve a easy dinner as per recipe and instructions provided
• Patient has a part-time housekeeper, PSW does some light housekeeping
• Accompany/ Assist patient for doctors' appointments, tests, and shopping Typical

working hours
are between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM with some flexibility. The pay rate is $25 per hour.
