We are seeking a warm, reliable, and engaging Support Worker / Companion for our wonderful 19-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. He is independent with all personal care (washing, dressing, eating). Communication is his biggest hurdle. We are looking for someone to help him stay active, engaged, and connected to the community through local activities and outings, as well as provide occasional meal preparation and support at home (especially during times when the family travels). Must speak English. Attributes such as sense of humour, loves children, caring, responsible are a plus. Hours may vary depending on scheduled outings. Wage to be determined/ hour.
