is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial activities, provides leadership to the accounting team, and supports strategic decision-making by delivering timely financial insights. Standard hours are in office, 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash-Flow statements, LOC reporting to the bank Managing and coordinating Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ensure all accounting and financial data is organized, up-to-date, and backed up Producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Senior Management Completing YE financials for external accounting firm Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial laws, and regulations, internal financial controls and procedures Monitor and report on trends that are critical to the organizations’ financial performance Conduct Financial Risk Management Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes Evaluating and maintaining accounting and internal control systems Manage/Develop/Implement special projects Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax compliance 5+ years of recent accounting and administrative experience in a similar role Relevant Accounting Education designations (Diplomas or Degrees in accounting) (CPA designation is not required, but is an asset) NetSuite/Oracle/Spire ERP experience is preferred (or similar platforms)
