Aker Solutions is expanding its team in St. John's, looking for a Senior Electrical Consultant to shape electrical engineering across new energy and traditional oil and gas projects. In this senior role, you'll drive decision-making on project costs, schedules, and operability, while ensuring outstanding team collaboration across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop electrical scope in alignment with other disciplines
• Define, document, and challenge design criteria and system philosophies
• Embed client and safety requirements into electrical designs
• Engage with vendors for power system studies and estimates
• Communicate engineering developments and emerging risks proactively
Requirements:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering
• Over 15 years of relevant experience in engineering
• Registered with PEGNL or eligible for registration
• Expertise in renewable energy and oil & gas sector
• Ability to integrate cross-discipline inputs effectively
