We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of highways projects across Ontario. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for developing a strategic approach to markets, clients, and associated projects, bringing the best solutions to increase market share in a consistent and predictable manner. In order to attain the objectives, the Portfolio Manager will work in close collaboration with other groups within the organization for market development strategy, the preparation of responses to calls for proposals, or the monitoring of project performance. Oversees Standing Offer contracts and provides oversight of project delivery performance associated with the client portfolio. Project Set‑up & Execution Provides project delivery oversight and delivers quality projects within the portfolio. Manages client interface. Manages waivers and claims. Manages risk and contingency. Champions continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery. Performs project manager duties for select mandates. Oversees and manages a portfolio of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Monitors and analyzes portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives. Participates in monthly business unit market meetings. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in infrastructure project or portfolio management, in the roads, bridges or highways sector.



Demonstrated strong knowledge of Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) practices through delivery of projects in a leadership role. Proven leadership, market analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and portfolio tools. - $162,000 annually. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
