Job Description
Senior Systems & Cloud EngineerWe are seeking a Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise server, identity, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on building secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure while supporting the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal team.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, virtualization, storage, and backup environments.
* Design and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including IaaS, landing zones, governance, security, and cost management.
* Administer Microsoft SQL Server, including security, backup/recovery, patching, performance, and high availability.
* Lead infrastructure audits, gap assessments, lifecycle planning, and architecture standards.
* Manage server patching, vulnerability management, monitoring, disaster recovery, and restore testing.
* Support infrastructure integration across IT and operational environments, including remote sites and occasional travel.




* Lead the transition of infrastructure operations from a managed service provider to an internal infrastructure team.
* Maintain infrastructure documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards.
* Collaborate with network and security teams to implement infrastructure, security, and identity controls.Qualifications* 7+ years of experience in systems and cloud infrastructure engineering.
* Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, SQL Server, VMware/Hyper-V, storage, and backup/recovery.
* Strong experience designing and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
* Proficiency with PowerShell;experience with Terraform or Bicep is an asset.
* Experience with infrastructure security, governance, and hybrid IT environments.
* Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
* Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305 are an asset.
