The Director of Finance will oversee the accounting team and all aspects of financial reporting, while managing the day‑to‑day accounting function and partnering closely with cross-functional departments. This is a hybrid position—work onsite Monday to Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. Manage the annual audit process Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Accounting Managers, Supervisors, and Payroll leadership Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory filings across jurisdictions Facilitate annual credit and insurance renewal,



and ensure credit compliance Manage ongoing cash flow and working capital Lead and participate in strategic initiatives and projects identified by the executive team Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision support Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role with experience leading and developing multi‑level accounting teams Proven ability to provide financial and analytical support to the decision‑making process Superior knowledge of complex accounting concepts, techniques, and principles Previous experience with a Microsoft ERP system is an asset Experience in a manufacturing, consumer products, or retail setting is an asset We respect the dignity and worth of every individual in the workplace and value the importance of diversity, fairness, and trust.
