The Senior Manager, Business Technology Analyst, FX Technology is responsible for driving strategic technology initiatives across the Foreign Exchange business. Acting as the critical liaison between Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams, the incumbent will lead requirements discovery, process optimization, target-state design, and solution delivery for complex front-to-back transformation initiatives. This role will be instrumental in the modernization of the bank's FX technology landscape, including migration from legacy platforms to strategic target-state solutions such as Murex and related ecosystem applications. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of the FX trade lifecycle, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology functions. Lead workshops and discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate complex business requirements. Produce high-quality: Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Data Flow Diagrams Business Rules Documentation Manage requirements traceability from inception through implementation. Perform impact assessments and gap analyses across current and future-state processes. Regulatory and compliance initiatives Define target operating models and future-state business processes. Assist in migration planning, cutover activities, and business readiness assessments. FX Domain & Process Expertise and Provide subject matter expertise across Front Office (FX Spot, FX Forward, FX Swap, NDF, FX Options) Middle Office (Trade capture, Trade validation,



Lifecycle event management, P&L; and Risk reporting) and Back Office (Confirmations, Settlements, SWIFT messaging, Accounting events, Nostro reconciliation, Regulatory reporting) Work closely with Solution Architects and Development teams to define technology solutions. Facilitate design discussions and assess technology options. Review solution designs to ensure alignment with business objectives. Testing & Implementation Define SIT and UAT strategies. Create and review test cases and test scenarios. Coordinate business testing activities. 10+ years of Business Analysis experience. 7+ years within Capital Markets or FX Technology. Experience delivering complex technology transformation programs. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. MBA, CFA, CBAP or equivalent certifications are considered an asset. SQL and data analysis Data mapping and reconciliation Testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, Regression) Agile / Scrum delivery practices SWIFT MT and MX messaging, CLS, ISO20022, Regulatory reporting requirements, Treasury and liquidity management processes Leadership Characteristics & Strategic thinker with strong business acumen Ability to communicate effectively with both senior executives and technical teams.
